For over seven decades, the geopolitical conversation surrounding Kashmir has been reduced to a false choice: join India or join Pakistan. This binary is a trap designed by regional powers to reduce our home to a mere territorial dispute between two nuclear-armed states.
True political honesty requires us to reject this binary entirely. Kashmir belongs neither to New Delhi nor to Islamabad; it belongs to the people who have lived, suffered, and preserved their dignity on this land for generations.
- Rejecting New Delhi’s Hegemony: We firmly oppose Indian state overreach, military occupation, the stripping of constitutional guarantees, and the systematic suppression of civil liberties. Integration by force is not integration; it is subjugation.
- Rejecting Islamabad’s Instrumentalization: We equally refuse to let Kashmir be used as a strategic tool for Pakistan’s military apparatus. Seeking liberation from one state only to surrender sovereignty to another is a betrayal of our struggle.

We must build a movement that is genuinely indigenous, self-sustained, and beholden to no foreign government.
